Room 2 takes the north-east corner of the house, which means quiet evenings and good light in the morning. A queen bed, a desk that's actually usable, and a bathroom you don't share. The kitchen, lounge and the covered alfresco are shared with a small number of other guests — everyone gets a welcome pack with the house details, and we ask for quiet after dark and tidy common areas. Cronulla and the Royal National Park are both about five minutes away.
