A local operator, not a letting agency
Todays Perfect Property Pty Ltd takes on properties in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney, fits them out properly, and runs them as furnished serviced accommodation. Three places so far. Every one of them managed by us.
Where this comes from
Today's Perfect Property Pty Ltd started on 1 April 2026. That is worth saying plainly rather than dressing up: the company is new. The person running it is not.
Chris Young has owned and managed property for around thirty years — factories, warehouses, commercial premises and residential. Different buildings, different tenants, but the same underlying job: keep the place in good order, keep the agreements straight, and deal with problems while they are still small ones.
Serviced accommodation moves at a faster tempo than a five-year commercial lease. What carries across is knowing what a building actually costs to run, what a proper fit-out needs, and what is going through an owner's mind when they hand someone else the keys.
Why the company exists
Today's Perfect Property was formed to meet a demand that keeps growing, and that neither hotels nor ordinary leases serve well. Government departments placing staff. Executives on short postings. Insurers housing a family while contractors put a damaged home right. People arriving from overseas who need somewhere calm to land. Grandparents over for a month to see the family.
They want the same thing and none of them want a hotel room: a proper furnished home, secure and properly looked after, for weeks or months rather than a night or two. That is the whole business.
Trust is not just a word. It's a feeling of security and peace.

In practice that means two different things. For an owner it is rent that arrives whether the property is full or empty, and a place handed back in better order than it was given. For a guest it is that the access code works, the place is clean, and the person who answers the phone is the person responsible for putting it right.
What we actually do
We lease homes and apartments from owners, developers and agents — then furnish and equip them at our own cost and operate them as short and medium-stay accommodation. The owner gets a fixed rent every month whether the place is full or empty, and never sees a management or letting fee.
For guests, that arrangement is the reason the standard holds up. One operator is responsible for the fit-out, the cleaning, the linen, the check-in and the phone call at 9pm. There is nobody to pass you to.
Where we work
The Sutherland Shire, and we live here. That matters more than it sounds: when a hot water system fails on a Sunday, someone is fifteen minutes away rather than in another city working out which contractor to ring.

All three properties are listed publicly as well as here, and the record is on the open platforms rather than in a testimonial we wrote ourselves — Superhost status, Guest Favourite on two of the three listings, and a 100% response rate.
